Make The Post Office Do Your Prospecting
June 21, 2008 by David Dassow
You can mail your way to leads, appointments, presentations, and contracts.
It’s called selling in print. The way it works is you find a group of prospects who have commonality, develop a message for them, and deliver the message via the post office.
One way of finding your group of prospects is to use your referral base; your back yard of contacts. Use my project 200 program to gather your referrals together.
Then send those referrals a letter from you. When you meet this sphere of influence gather up a bunch more referrals.
Here’s a cool way to take it to the next level. Go through your backyard of referrals and search for a Champion Endorser™.
A champion endorser belongs to a club, an organization, an association, some sort of group. Use an endorsed letter from your champion endorser and watch the leads come in with you hardly doing anything (see my Magnetic Referral Prospecting System© Kit).
You can take your Prospecting to a whole new level allowing printed words on paper to explain your message and use the Post Office to do the grunt work of delivering your message.
You’ll never have to do cold-hard-prospecting again.
