Everything must be tracked, the mail sent, phone calls, responses, and conversions.

What You Need For Success
Before you can jump into the Prospecting of your business, you need to make sure that you are prepared for success. The following items are very important for your success.
You need to:
- have a unique position with your prospects. By this I mean you need a niche and the more you know about your niche the better off you are.
- develop your special reports and sequenced follow-up material including testimonials and newspaper clippings
- set up a system to input the names and addresses of your prospects so you can follow-up
- automate as many steps of the process as possible
- set up a way to gather testimonials.
- have flexibility with your follow-up system (make it easy to change different steps in your system)
- the ability to capture written, audio, and video for future testimonials to track your progress.
For long term continued success you must know what is working and what is not working.
It’s also a good idea to figure your ROI (return on investment). That’s an important number to know and analyze if what you are doing is giving you the return you want.
You need to develop a stay-in-touch program where you can stay in touch for at least 12 months after your special reports/follow up system (you want to be able to have your stay-in-touch program take over after your initial special report and follow up sequences)
