I’m sure you’ve heard the definition of insanity.. doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results.

We’ve just ended the first quarter of 2009.  How are you doing with your goals?  Written lots of business?  Three months into the new year and are you doing the same tired things you did last year hoping, praying things would change and you’d be doing better?

People will always Pre-Plan in Good Times or Bad

All the economic news is nothing more than an excuse for not producing.  You’ve got to remember the News Organization’s job is to present the news in a negative format even if it’s good news.

The first tip of the day is to go on a complete news diet.  Just quit watching the stuff, quit listening to the stuff no matter how appealing it may sound.  The world’s not going to come to an end tomorrow and if it does nothing will matter anyway.

You will always have a pretty good idea what’s going on in the world just by word-of-mouth.

The News is presented in a negative format because scaring the life out of you sells.  It sells big time.  No one wants to hear about the good things happening in your town.

Good News doesn’t sell.  It never has and it never will.

Spend the time you’d be watching or listening to the news with your family and friends.

You’ll soon discover your blood pressure decreasing, your health getting better, your positive upbeat attitude getting better, and best of all, you’ll eliminate the excuse of the economy and take control of your sales.

You can do it, now go do it.
