How Pre-Need Sellers Profit From Adversity
November 22, 2009 by David Dassow
As long as we’re talking about goals we might as well discuss adversity.
“Every adversity carries within it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.”
— Napoleon Hill
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard pre-need sellers complain that they failed at getting this sale because of _________ .
The reasons don’t matter. What matters is focusing on learning from adversity. If you’ve got a hundred prospects to talk to do you give a damn about a sale you never had?
When you work on your attitude and focus on learning from mistakes. It’s how you react, how you decide to respond. All of us face adversity and those who respond by getting back up, dusting off, and getting on the horse again succeed.
Those who decide to walk away and give up never realize the potential that is within us.
I love the title of a book written by Robert Schuller. I’ve never read the book, just focused on the title.
“Tough Times Never Last
But Tough People Do”
Happy Selling!
David…
P.S. Next time we’ll talk about mastering the one thing we all have a finite number of know matter how rich or poor we all have the same amount of time each day.
