When you’re a kid you never think about it and assume that’s the way things are done.
What’s interesting is those homemade concoctions really did work.

I’m often amused by emails asking for high-level solutions to selling problems. It’s difficult to go for upper level solutions to problems when we don’t know the basics.
Use the simple home remedies to your selling problems first.
In football they refer to it as blocking and tackling. In Pre-Need Selling it is Prospecting and Presenting.
If you’re able to do the basics the complex becomes simple.
In my later years of school the Math Teacher insisted we learn how to add and subtract before we could use the calculator. Once we demonstrated we could add and subtract we were allowed to use the calculator.
