The Definition of a Renegade and how to be one…
September 12, 2008 by David Dassow
Renegade: (non-conformists, refusing to do industry norms, in many ways a contrarian thinker). Results based, refuses to and ignores the definition of insanity (doing things over and over again expecting different results). Never satisfied with mediocre, stives for success as defined by his/her “wants” not “needs”.
As a renegade I’ve been where you are. From just beginning in the business un-sure of what to do…to doing everything I’m told to do..to becoming successful selling the tired old last century approach, to completely “chucking the old ways” and ifnoring the industry rule book and in the process I became hugely successful.
A hugely successful Renegade Pre-Need Seller breaking all the rules of the industry. I took industry norms and threw them out the window. If I can do it YOU CAN DO IT!
This site is designed to share the Renegade principles and how you can take these principles and succeed beyond your wildest dreams. You too can achieve your “want goals”.
Every time you go to make a deposit the bank teller isn’t going to ask you how many industry norms you broke to get the money. The money spends the same no matter what. I’ve never gone to the bank and hear them tell me I couldn’t make deposits because I chose to ignore the rules.
As Far as it goes I have no desire to be like everybody else. I’d rather quietly do my thing and make a healthy deposit to the checking account. There’s no fun in being broke like everyone else.
A renegade is humble, happy to offer his/her colleagues a tip or two buy quietly leads the office month in and month out. A renegade is not afraid to go outside the box. A renegade is not afraid of success. A Renegade Pre-Need Seller will repeat what’s working and ignore what’s not working.
