A Quick Up-Date On Me

Yeah, I know, it’s rare you’ll read a post that talks about me but I’m breaking a rule to give you a quick up-date and how it might impact you.
First, I’ve left the company I worked for nearly 6 years. There were two big draw-backs working with them. First, I was in one market only and most of you know I recommend at least 3 distinct markets for selling pre-need. Second, I’m sick and tired of managing people.
I know it might seem harsh but a friend of mine used to say that he performed baby sitting duty every day. They’d drop off the folks at his place and he’d baby sit for the day and give ‘em back.
So now that I’m in an open market I’ll be adding two more markets to my arsenal. In other words, I’m searching for two additional markets to sell preneed.
You know how I get about so called expert gurus who have never sold anything in their life or only dream about selling. These folks are more than happy to tell you how to do something that they haven’t a clue about. Next time you get advice from these clowns ask them the million dollar question. How much did you make selling? When was the last time you sold a pre-arrangement?
I make six-figures a year selling. Been doing it for years. If you’re going to get advice from someone for Pete’s sake get it from people that actually sell or have sold substantial amounts of business!
The good news for you is I’ll be doing what I preach in those new markets, namely selling. And I’ll update you along the way with a report card of the progress and results.
The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Unfortunately one downside to my company change is time. I’ll have less of it. From now on I’m focusing all my resources on making sales not baby sitting. This will create more of a wait when you email me with questions. In other words I’ll be focusing that much more time on prospecting and presenting and selling.
Which basically means I’ll be further behind answering your email questions. Expect a two week wait to hear back from me but rest assured I’ll get back to you. I promise.
I’ve had some additional requests for more on sales letters and I’ll be posting on those shortly with samples.
