It is kind of interesting how people will tell you you can earn massive amounts of money selling pre-arrangements but either they can’t sell any or cannot give you an example of someone making at least 6-figures selling.

Well, go no further.

I make 6-figures selling pre-need and have been for years. 

Who Am I And Why Should You Listen to Me?

I’ve been in the business of selling pre-arrangements for nearly 10 years.  I’ve spoken in front of many groups including the ICCFA.

One of the most frustrating things I’ve seen is how everybody is quick to tell you what to do but really can’t tell you how to do it.

Yes, sure, I agree, you should prospect for 2 hours every single day.  SO?

The better question is:  How do I prospect for those 2 hours every single day?

You should begin with your natural market, your spheres of influence, your backyard of referrals.

Now, how do you do this?

You; Mine Your Natural Market.  You go after your inner circle of contacts through an organized plan that acquires the names. suggests how to contact them, and leaves plenty of room for error and procrastination.

Let’s face it procrastination is the number one reason people don’t pre-plan and the number one reason Pre-Need Sellers don’t sell.  Everyone procrastinates

Now, it’s not your fault.  Let me set the record straight right now.

I’ve known of plenty of newbies who were never really taught how to do much of anything and were never offered support at all.

There’s a better way.

First, don’t believe for one second you’re going to have a lot of support to start.  If the owner knew how to do it he’d do it.

Not many people have a system for prospecting.  Almost NO one has a system for enerating referrals by the truckload.

But I digress.

Well it’s pretty simple really.  A Prospect for you is someone who doesn’t own but is open to discussing it.  The someone who doesn’t own cemetery property or funeral arrangements.  Open to discuss it is someone who thinks it makes sense to discuss.

Further you’re looking for people who have similarities in thinking.  Birds of a feather flock together.

Finally, you’re looking for a system to plug into.  Admittedly it takes a few minutes to iron out the bugs of a system but once done you go on autopilot and don’t worry about everything because you’ve made the system simple.

Some people refer to this as KISS principle.  KISS means Keep it simple stupid!
