It has been many years ago but I used to work for a company that did no advertising at all.  The sales force depended completely on referrals.

in fact, the sales force did not cold-call-prospect or any other method of cold-prospecting.

It was all warm referrals.

It was a fairly simple system.

The First Step was to Mine Your Natural Market.

The Second Step was to generate referrals during the presentation.  At least 5 referrals every time a presentation was made.

Any time you combine Prospecting & Presenting you are the most efficient that you can be.

All it requires is tweaking your presentation to include a referral method.
