Is 80% Pre-Need REALLY Good Enough?

There’s a great line regarding success that’s often repeated as a call to pre-need sellers:

“Eighty percent of success is showing up.”
– Woody Allen

The point Mr. Allen makes is a good one – given the apparent lackluster levels of ambition across society today,

The mere fact of simply “showing up” can indeed put you in the top tier when it comes to achievement and results.

But is 80% really good enough?

Times remain challenging for pre-need sellers.

The nature of the industry, lack of training, no true mentors, competition and more.

So while there’s indeed clear value to “being there” it’s highly unlikely that it alone will provide the edge you need in today’s tough climate. 

Working to gain that “extra edge” by going above and beyond 80-90-even-99% is what we’re all about, the starting point is to dive into all things pre-need.
